Webnames.ca Announces Agreement with VeriSign to Offer Real Time .CA Domain Registrations

Vancouver, BC, Dec 14, 2001 / CNW / - Webnames.ca, a leading provider of domain name registration and Internet Services today announced an agreement with VeriSign, Inc. to use Webnames.ca to register all .CA domain names for the VeriSign Registrar's customers. Under the agreement, customers visiting the VeriSign Registrar's domain name storefront would be able to link directly to the Webnames.ca site at www2.webnames.ca to register .CA domain names.

The .CA is the Canadian country code extension and is available to applicants that meet certain Canadian presence requirements specified by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority.
