Registrar Transfer Checklist
The following will help ensure a smooth transfer process:
- Verify all contact details and ensure your admin contact email is correct and active
- Verify that your domain name(s) are not within 7 days of expiry to ensure they will not expire during the transfer process
- Contact your current registrar for your authorization codes (also called an EPP code or Transfer key) and request any locks be removed from your domain name(s)
- For .CA domains, have your CIRA login details handy.
