Overview
Webnames' Multi-domain hosting allows more than one domain to utilize the resources (such as disk space) of a common hosting account. The initial/primary domain used must use Webnames.ca as a registrar (i.e. the domain must reside within your Webnames.ca account) and utilize a website hosting package which supports multiple websites. Subsequent domain names can either reside within the same Webnames account (either directly or through a child account), or reside at another Registrar A domain name registrar is an organization or commercial entity that manages the reservation of Internet domain names. A domain name registrar must be accredited by a generic top-level domain (gTLD) registry and/or a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registry. The management is done in accordance with the guidelines of the designated domain name registries and to offer such services to the public..
This feature is included as part of our Advantage, and Pro and Hosting. Allocations for additional domains can also be added a la carte to a hosting plan.
