Disowning Child Accounts

A Child Account can be disowned and made an independent account through the steps shown below.

NOTE: All disowned accounts will have their pricing reset to reflect that of an independent Retail account.

• Log In to your Webnames.ca account
• Navigate to All > Child Accounts> Manage Child Accounts
• Click on the Disown a child account tab
• Click the Disown button beside the corresponding account

Upon disowning, the option to send the account a password reset email is given, should the account owner not have knowledge of their account login credentials.
