Options for Domain Acquisition

For a domain that is already registered, the RegistrantClosed A Registrant is the individual or organization that holds the right to use a specific domain name. has secured the right to use the domain in perpetuity, so long as the domain is not allowed to expire.

Domains can however, be bought and sold like any other commodity.

If you feel that an existing domain name registration infringes on intellectual property, or was registered in bad faith, processes exist to pursue acquisition of the domain name.
