Templates
The templates included with LiteSite provide a unique layouts, formatting and looks for your website. Each template is designed to works well on all screen sizes, including desktop and mobile.
Changing Templates
To view additional template choices and/or make a change, click Site Settings > Change Template
LiteSite currently offers five different layout templates for your website. Each of the templates provide a different layout and style for your website.
- Business Card
- Business I
- Restaurant
- Resume
- Business II
We recommend making your template selection primarily based on the look of the header (i.e. the very top portion of the template) since this is a unique component of each template. Once in the LiteSite editor, you'll be able to customize the look, feel and content of what is provided in each template.
Templates can be previewed full-screen by making a template selection and then clicking Preview template.
After your template selection, you will always be able to come back and select a different template to apply to your LiteSite website.
When switching templates on a LiteSite website which has already been built, you are given the option to:
- Keep your existing content (recommended)
- Start completely over
| NOTE: When opting to keep existing content, some customized formatting may be discarded in cases where that formatting would be incompatible with the template being applied. Utilize the Preview option outlined below to observe if any significant formatting changes will take place |
Previewing Templates
Templates can be previewed by first making a selection and then choosing whether to keep you existing content, or use default content (start over)
