Additional Databases
Our Hosting Plans feature the following Database limits:

| Pro Hosting Plan | As Much As You Need (AMAYN As Much As You Need) |
Additional databases can be added to your current hosting by:
- Upgrading your hosting plan to a higher package which includes additional databases
- Adding a la carte databases to your existing hosting plan (Pro Plan only)
Upgrading your Hosting Pan
You can easily upgrade your Hosting plan via the following steps in your Webnames.ca account:
- Navigate to My Account > Manage > Web Hosting
- Click on your domain name
- On the current Hosting tab, in the Modify section, select the desired Plan from the Change Hosting Plan drop-down
- Click Apply
- If performing an upgrade, our Shopping Cart will then be displayed with the final total (including taxes). Enter your Credit Card information and Submit Payment.
- Once paid, our system will then provision your selected Hosting Package to your account.
| Note: Hosting package downgrades can also be performed using the above process. In this case please ensure the resources being used currently for diskspace and bundled email addresses etc are accommodated by the lower package you are intending to move to. |
Adding a la carte databases to your existing Pro Hosting Plan
You can easily add additional databases to your existing Hosting plan via the following steps in your Webnames.ca account:
- Go to My Account > Web Hosting
- Click on your domain name
- On the current Hosting tab, under the Actions section, click the Request button beneath‘Request Database Increase’.
Your request will be reviewed by Webnames staff to ensure proper use of our hosting services. You will be contacted via email at the conclusion of this process.
