Blackberry Playbook using POP3 w/SSL

  1. On your Blackerry Playbook, tap the gear in the top right hand corner to open the Settings menu
  2. From the Settings menu, tap Accounts then Email Calendar and Contacts
  3. Tap the Advanced Setup button near the bottom of the page
  4. From the account type list, tap POP3
  5. Enter your details:
    1. Description: Description of your choice
    2. Display Name: Your Name
    3. Username: Full Email Address
    4. Email Address: Full Email Address
    5. Password: Your Password
    6. Server Address: securemail.webnames.ca
    7. Port: 995
    8. Use SSL: Enabled
    9. SMTP Username: username (portion of email address proceeding the @ symbol)
    10. SMTP Password: Your Password
    11. SMTP Server Address: securemail.webnames.ca
    12. SMTP Port: 587 (Optionally, port 465)
    13. SMTP Encryption:Enabled
