Register a Conflicting Domain Name

If you are unable to register a .ca domain because its name conflicts with an existing domain, you can use this form to begin a manual process that will be approved by the owner of the existing domain, and by CIRA staff.

For example, you want to register myconflictingdomain.ca, but another party already owns myconflictingdomain.bc.ca. In this case, the .ca registry considers the domains to have conflicting names, and will not allow the new domain to be registered unless the existing domain owner provides written approval.
