.TEL is a new technology that allows you to safely and easily store all of your contact information in one place. Anyone using your .TEL name can conveniently view your contact details using their mobile phone or web browser. If your details ever change or you add more information, everyone will be immediately updated.
Information that is personal, like your home number can be protected using strong encryption and will only be visible to people you choose and you won't need additional hosting or a designer to set up or use your .TEL.

Step 1: Choose a Name
Begin by choosing the name you want and check to see if it is available by entering it in the search box and clicking "Go". Each .TEL name is unique, so once your name is taken, you will need to choose another name or a variation.
Step 2: Set up your Details
Once your name is registered, you will be sent a username and password to log in to your TelHosting Account, which you can do from any web browser. You will use TelHosting to input and update your contact information and manage access to private information.
Step 3: Start using your .TEL Name
Your friends and business connections can now access your contact information by entering your .TEL name in their mobile phone or web browser. Let the world know about your .TEL name. Tell them about it in conversation; include it in your email signature; put it on your business card and marketing collateral.
If you or your contact own a Blackberry® Smartphone, install "Hornet", the .TEL Address Book from hornet.tel or www.hornethub.com to store and use your growing list of .TEL names. For iPhones, use "Superbook", available at the App Store.
